When does Solar Opposites season 2 air?
Solar Opposites season two has been confirmed to come to Hulu on 26 March 2021, so you don’t have long to wait. Like the first season, season two will consist of eight episodes. If it follows the same pattern as this year, all will drop on Hulu at once, so you can binge them all in one session if you so wish.

How can I watch Solar Opposites?
Solar Opposites is a Hulu exclusive. If you’re in the US, it’s pretty easy to sign up. You simply head on over to the Hulu website, sign up for an account and choose either the ad-supported version ($5.99 per month) or the ad-free version ($11.99 per month). Both offer a month’s free trial. If you’re based in the UK – then we have some good news. Solar Opposites will be coming to Disney Plus on 23 February 2021, thanks to the addition of Star, the international equivalent of Hulu. If you’ve not yet signed up for Disney+, you can do so on the website. There’s been no confirmation yet on if season two of Solar Opposites will come to Disney+ at the same time as the Hulu release. If it doesn’t, then there is a way to access Hulu from the UK. The Hulu website uses geo-targeting to block people from outside of America accessing the site. However, we’ve found a workaround for signing up for a Hulu account, but a fair warning that it requires a bit of work. The first thing you’ll need is a VPN (virtual private network), which changes your IP address so you can browse the web as if you’re based in another country. For watching Hulu, we’d recommend either NordVPN or ExpressVPN for their wide range of servers and competitive prices. If you’d like more options, you can also check out our lists of the best VPNs for streaming, as well as the list of the best free VPNs. However, a fair warning that free VPNs don’t usually have enough servers to be able to stream efficiently. Plus, most of the paid ones offer free trials anyway, so you could binge the whole of Solar Opposites without needing to pay for your VPN. Once you’ve downloaded your VPN of choice, simply choose a US server and then create an account on the Hulu website. When you get to the payment section, things get a little complicated, as the site wants payment information that’s tied to the US. You can get round this by purchasing a Hulu gift card from Walmart for either $25 or $50, and then using that as your payment information with no need to input a credit card. If you’d like more details on this process, then take a look at our piece on how to watch Hulu from abroad.
Will there be a third season of Solar Opposites?
Two seasons just isn’t enough for Solar Opposites, as Hulu has already renewed it for another season, according to Variety. Season 3 will consist of twelve episodes, rather than the usual eight. There isn’t yet a release date, but we expect it will arrive sometime in 2022.
Who are the cast and crew?
The voice actors for the series feature some familiar names, including Justin Roiland, the voice of Rick and co-creator of Rick and Morty. Here’s the main cast members:
Justin Roiland as KorvoSean Giambrone as YumyulackMary Mack as YumyulackThomas Middleditch as Aeden
This show is a co-creation between Justin Roiland and Mike McMahan – Dan Harmon from Rick and Morty isn’t involved at this current time. Solar Opposites was originally going to be on Fox broadcasting, but was then shelved. Fortunately Hulu has given the show a revival.
What is the plot about?
Prepare yourselves for another extra-terrestrial themed adventure, as Solar Opposites focuses around an alien family who take refuge in middle America, only to be in complete disagreement on how much they love/hate the lifestyle. The characters – despite being very nice – kill a lot of people accidentally because they just don’t understand human culture. In season two, things are set to get ‘even more opposite’ than they were before. You can get a bigger taste of the show in the official season one trailer:
