Up to 40 channels are on offer including Sky One, Sky Movies and Sky Sports. Which channels you can access depend on your Sky package. The service is available to existing Sky Go customers for no extra charge to the usual monthly subscription. However, if you’re not a current Sky customer then you can opt for a Sky Go Monthly Ticket. This allows you to watch Sky TV via Sky Go without regular Sky TV subscription starting at £15 per month. Sky Go is available on smartphones, tablets, Microsoft Xbox 360, PCs and Macs. The following is a step-by-step guide on how to watch Sky Go on your laptop or PC, whether it’s Windows or Mac based. Step One On a desktop or laptop Sky Go is accessible via a web browser. So simply visit www.skygo.com. Most web browsers are compatible including Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Internet Explorer.
Step Two Sign into Sky Go with your Sky ID. If you don’t have a Sky ID then you can sign up for one on the website. Note: Sky limits you to singing in on a maximum of two devices at any one time. One laptop and one tablet, for example.
Step Three If you don’t already have it you will need to install Microsoft Silverlight to use Sky Go.
Step Four Once you’ve logged in you can watch live TV to your heart’s content. The easiest way is via the TV Guide which works just like it would on a normal TV. Here you get a picture-in-picture but can also watch via a pop-out window or ful-screen.
